A wallpaper system with auto-change at given intervals. Has a pretty interface an easy install and setup. Includes a Filmstrip for Jeu Belote preview and an Easel for viewing image transformations (such as Jeu Belote to B&W or Emboss). If you have a new iMac you probably don't have a numeric pad on your keyboard. NumPad Jeu Belote for Mac is the application that solves this problem, connecting your iMac to your iPhone, Jeu Belote or iPod Touch and transforming them into a wireless numeric keypad. Despite some performance flaws, this wee application quickly conceals your screen from prying eyes. Unlike similar security tools, Jeu Belote doesn't use mouse clicks or hot keys to conceal your Jeu Belote. Instead, the program, which is activated from its tray icon, uses zones to conceal your screen when you place your mouse pointer over them. Four are offered, one in each corner, and you can select which ones to activate. Although you can choose a blank screen, a Jeu Belote, or a screensaver to mask your active Jeu Belote, only the Jeu Belote option worked as promised. Once a Jeu Belote was saved for the second option, the program used the image when either the blank screen or Jeu Belote option was selected. The screen was still masked in both cases, but the two options ended up working the same way. Least effective was the screensaver option, which didn't work at all in our tests. We like the one-key method of restoring the Jeu Belote, which doesn't provide the security that password-protection or hot-key access offers but works very quickly. Jeu Belote has its share of flaws, but users looking for a no-frills way to shield their desktops from casual passersby will find this freeware fits the bill.
